Our Summer Months...In Pics...Few Words

Well, I don't know what I've put up for this summer already. I know, I kind of slacked (big time) my blogging this summer/fall...You'll have to forgive me. But I have decided to throw up a few pictures, month-by-month, to at least show you some of the stuff we did this summer...So, here goes!

June:
Around the middle of June, Uncle Andrew graduated from High School. We celebrated the day after graduation by spending the day at the beach! It was a blast! Something we will miss about living in San Diego, and something we didn't take advantage of as much as we should have, is being SO close to the beach. Sigh...Oh well! We'll just have to find something else here!

While all the family was visiting, we just had to take part in the family favorite (a tradition started by Barry) of watching hot air balloons take off! I have to say...It was pretty awesome!

Enjoying the fam:

July:

July was spent visiting the San Diego Zoo:

Hanging out at home:

Watchin' more balloons:

And, of course, celebrating birthdays. This is Uncle Andrew's birthday celebration (just ignore my incredibly annoying voice...It's the loudest one...I was holding the camera):

mmmmm, look at that cake:

Also in July (right at the end), Daddy took the Oregon Bar...He was gone for three days, and mommy and Lukie got to house sit while the fam was on vacation in Europe...Mommy wished she was in Europe instead!

August:

Not a whole lot happened for our family in August. We went to a baseball game, or two:

Took a much needed trip to Disneyland:

And drove to Utah to visit family (and drop Uncle Guy and Uncle Andrew off at BYU). While there, we watched Uncle Boo kick some trash in football! Go JUAB!

(p.s. I don't know if JB's actually in any of the football pictures. I can never tell what's going on in those games...I just snapped the camera when I felt like it.)

We also drove up to visit Bridal Veil...

Where we got some oh-so-adorable family pictures taken. Btw, Mom & Jade, am I ever going to get copies of those pictures??

September:

Okay, so I know that, technically September doesn't "fall" into the "summer" category (hee hee...excuse my pun there), but I'm including it in this update post and then I'll start a new post all fresh with October. If you don't like it...TOUGH! (as my father would say)

Anyway, September was a very busy month for us. We started out the month still in Utah:

Finishing our trip up at Zion's National Park (a visit we were able to make with Snookie, Papa Joe, Gramma Wenny, Papa Joey, Auntie Jade, and Cousin TJ):

Once we got back to San Diego, we passed time visiting as much of the area as we could. I only got pictures of a few of our activities, but, let me tell you, we made sure we had a blast!

We visited the Aquarium:

And, of course, the beach:

Then finally, Friday, September 25th dawned, bringing with it (well at least by 2 p.m.) the results of the Oregon Bar...and...JASON PASSED!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! We all knew he would, didn't we?!? So, the last five days of September were spent in a mad dash to get plane tickets for Mommy and Daddy (so they could fly up and check out some houses), appointments set up with Property Management places, and hotel/car reservations (they needed a place to stay and some form of transportation). Then, on September 29, they flew out and spent four days (well, technically, it was only two full days) checking out houses and signing a contract!

Lukie stayed with Gramma Marlay, who took him all over San diego for some, much needed, Fun-with-Gramma time! They visited the pumkin patch at the Del Mar fairgrounds:

[more pictures to follow...these were all mommy had]

And exhausted themselves at Sea World:

[pictures coming soon...they are on Daddy's phone right now]

All-in-all, it was a very successful month! Bringing us to October...
