So, I was ordering my groceries tonight (yeah, we have them delivered...it's sorta nice) and I came to the conclusion that being here in New York, though there are some interesting things about the place, I have come to miss the simplest things about California...and even Utah (duh, duh, duh)...
First of all, I so very much miss my car...having a car in Cali felt free...I could go anywhere I wanted, whenever I wanted. Of course, I wouldn't really want to drive around in NYC anyway so...
I miss the busy freeways in California...and knowing which freeway led where...
I miss Walmarts in Utah and Targets in Cali...
I miss Costco...
I really really miss Ralphs...
Oddly enough, I miss my one bedroom apartment...well, at least, I miss the complex...
But I think the thing I miss the most is the weather...It's always sunny in California! I miss the sun...and the beach...sigh...the beautiful waves sparkling in the sunlight...
So, this is kind of a "humdrum" post, and it probably won't stay up long...but I needed to write it down at least...

I also miss all those things about cali but the complex part made me laugh alittle because of that "pool guy" you and your sister ran into. Anyway, I'm totally jealous that your in New York and I'm stuck in Hurricane(prob for the rest of my life). We miss you guys and hope things are going good.
p.s. Did you see the Twilight movie? I actually read the book but have not seen the movie.
I miss my friend:( We have YW/YM combined activity tonight and we all wish you were here to "play" with us!!! You know Lori is now in PA, you should look her up. I love how you specify "Utah" Walmarts because they suck in CA:) Love to you and your great family!
Hang in there, love. This too shall pass.. and all our experiences are here to teach us. You know that already, I'm sure, but keep on reminding yourself.
