So, because I'm such a slacker and don't actually call my sister to tell her this weirdness...I decided that I'd blog it and she would read it and say, "okay, that's crazy!"
Anyway, I'm talking to Jade a few weeks ago--she called me with the so totally exciting news that she was having a boy and his name is going to be "Timothy James" Ranagan. And I'm like, oh that's so cute...while all the while thinking, okay, I have so heard that name before...but where? Of course, I don't actually tell her this because, let's face it, the last thing you want to hear when you're sharing the news is something like, "Oh I've heard that name before...I guess it's kind of a popular name" (or, you know, "Oh yeah, like, 'LUUUUKE I am your FATHER!'")...Ahem...
So after I get off the phone, and I'm being all excited that my sister is joining the BABY BOY circle, I decide that I'm going to work on my story--yes I am writing a story. I get on my computer open my "writing" folder and see a bunch of folders titled after the titles/characters in some of my other stories (sometimes i get bored with writing about one thing, so i make little notes about other stories)...There is this folder that I started, I don't know, three-five years ago entitled "T.J. Walker" and I'm like, "NO STINKING WAY!"
So I open it up and, sure enough, very first line of the story is "TIMOTHY JAMES Walker, you get back here this instant!" Okay, can anyone else say, "CREEPY"...It's like I'm psychic or something...Needless to say, I think I'm going to change the character's name...if I ever get to writing that story...

WOW, I don't really think that's too creepy, more just really interesting or the fact that you just liked that name way before and that's what she decided to name him.. STILL VERY INTERESTING!!! (that's what i think)
good job, thinkin the same. And Good luck with finishing the story.. hey maybe you wouldn't have to change the name but maybe you could just make it about Jade's lil boy.. when he grows up!!
So I think it's intensely fascinating....because, obviously, Jade and Tim have picked the name because of Tim, but when you wrote that so many years ago there wasn't even a Tim in our lives. I love it. I think it was some sort of spiritual connection or it just could be because you've had to come up with like a thousand names to fill up all the stories you write and so finally one was bound to connect. Still TJ was a main character AND the title of your file. Impressive.

Cool...:). You know, I've been waiting for you to publish one of your great stories that you've been writing since high school and become famous so I could say, "yeah, I am so her friend...try not to be too jealous." he he
Don't change it! If you keep that the character's name our little boy can say "My Aunt Lacy wrote that story about me!!" Haha that is way way too awesome. I love it so much and unless he is the villan in the story..PLEASE KEEP IT! Love you :D
