Happy Happy Birthday Lukie Dear! (a month and a half ago)

Hahaha! So, Luke's first birthday was like FOREVER ago and I'm just now getting up the pics. We didn't take a ton, but we took a few...Thought all of you would like to see them :D...

We put one of the gifts in a bag that we got last year at Luke's baby shower, so I pulled the adorable "Baby" decoration off the bag and decorated my "Baby"...he looked so cute! Of course, he didn't really like it...

And we have here, the beautiful pile of C-R-A-P that was left over after opening the gifts (which part Luke liked more than the gifts themselves hmm...)

After all the opening of gifts and singing fun songs...Luke got to have his first bite of cake (actually, I don't think that it's his first bite...he's probably had a few bites of cake before...we're not exactly careful when it comes to sugar...)...

I'm pretty sure he thought the cake was the best thing he had ever eaten...he couldn't get enough of it...

And so, that pretty much sums up Lukie's first birthday...One year old and so much the wiser (the wiser part includes mommy and daddy...although i have to admit...Luke's a pretty smart kid...most of the time...sometimes...well he can be...every now and then...)
