We had so much fun! And Lukie was just starting to walk a lot, so we tried to get some pics...
Apparently he didn't think he was quite ready to have his picture taken whilst walking...But he didn't mind the crawling...he's got that down pat...
HAHA! Okay, so, the Faas' are getting their windows redone (including the glass doors)...and one of the two doors leading out to the pool wasn't locking...So, Grampa, Uncle Andy, and Dad spent like two hours trying to get it to lock...I just had to take a picture...It was so funny...they were all so frustrated...I am so rude...HAHAHA!
On Sunday, after church, we relaxed a bit before heading to the Langston's...I thought Lukie looked so cute in his swim shirt (he totally wore it as a shirt all day...whatever, who cares?)...so I had to take a picture...
Then, it was off to Jason's Aunt and Uncle's (the Langston's) for Easter Dinner and the Egg Hunt...
So, Luke didn't quite get the whole searching for colored eggs...but he did have his Aunt Carol to help him collect a few...He really just wanted to eat them...
Thought I'd throw in some pics of the cousins (well, Jason's cousins...)hunting for the eggs...
Above, we have all the kids (Taylor, Zach, Mike, and Hailey) looking by the trash can for eggs...GROSS...and Below, we have Lukie's only attempt at searching for eggs...I think he was more interested in the bug repellant candle than the egg behind it...
This egg was one of the hardest for the kids to find...It was right on top of the plant, and yet they walked past it like thirty times...I think Carol is the one who finally found it...hee hee..."If it was a snake it woulda bit ya!"
Pretty much, Luke was done after an hour...He wanted to go back inside...
I think he knew that he had plastic eggs full of Fruit Snacks inside...that's why he didn't care for the real eggs...
While everyone else was outside, enjoying the beautiful spring weather, and the fun egg hunt...Daddy and Uncle Andrew were inside...playing on the Wii (for those of you who may not know...it's a video game thingy...they play it all the time...)
I love how intense they get...they were racing or something...
Poor Grandma Marlay had hurt her back earlier that weekend (she was trying to get out Lukie's toys and fell--she sacrificed herself for her grandbaby...Thanks Marlay!)...Anyway, so she had trouble sitting...She's probably going to get mad at me for taking a picture and putting it up here, but I wanted everyone to know how great she is to Lukie...She takes such good care of him (and of us)...I don't know what I'd do without her! Thank you so much Mom!
So, Lukie's not one hundred percent sure that he likes his GREAT Aunt Ginger...She babysits him whenever we all (Grampa Norm, Gramma Marlay, Dad, Mom, and Uncle Seven--Andrew) go out to dinner...He pretty much knows that, when he sees her, it means mom and dad are leaving...He was a little nervous around her...
But he was perfectly fine with his GREAT Uncle Doug...
I should make a collection of the "Cool Eyes" pictures that I have of Lukie..I just love his eyes...Of course, apart from his cool eyes...he looks kind of retarded in this picture...oh well...
Oh Look! My beautiful self portrait pics...
I figured there should be at least one picture of me...so I took two...HAHAHA! I look so dumb...
By the end of the festivities, we were all beat...
But no one was as tired as Lukie!

That was one seriously long post...hahaha. I can't get over how cute your new haircut is so I'm glad you took a picture of it! And Luke is getting SO big. What a cutie!
I just love your Easter post. How fun to have so many of you get together. We almost never get together with Dad's family anymore, and mine is so far away (including Renee and her family). Lukie is so cute sitting on the grass all by himself . I'm sure he's been doing that for a while but I still love to see it. It makes me laugh to see all of his pictures. Thanks for posting so regularly.
Love, Mom
