"Reason's got nuthin to do wth it."

The next thing that happened in the last week (b.t.w. I guess I've posted backwards...so you'll have to go down and read up.)...The next thing that happened in the last week...Daryl went to his first baseball game! And he loved it...except for when Mommy got really excited and jumped up in the air with him...Yeah...and it was a little loud...but other than that...he loved it.

He really enjoyed the time spent with Grandpa Norm, Grandma Marlay, and Uncle Seven...

And he thought Mom's hair was a lot of fun. Tasted good too...

And he loved the food at the game, too. Doesn't food taste so much better at a ball game?!

Plus, everyone had this really good candy. Baby couldn't figure out how to get any, but the bag sure was interesting...

All-in-all, it was a great induction into the world of baseball. And the Padres totally kicked trash...GO PADRES!

Jake Peavy, Mom's favorite starting pitcher, pitched the whole game...Dodgers didn't get any runs...it was awesome.

In the bottom of the second inning, Adrian Gonzalez hit a homer. Padres:1 Dodgers:0...Adrian is Jason's favorite player...Well, we say that because Jason pitched against Gonzalez in high school. According to Jason, he's probably one of the people that hit a home run off one of Jason's pitches.

Mike Cameron totally hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth ...totally awesome!

I do have to say a little something about the one player I like on the Dodgers...I call him "Nickelback" because he looks like the lead singer of the band. His real name is Luis Gonzalez...I pretty much just like him b'cause he looks like Chad Kroeger.
